Funds managed by Alpina Management GmbH (“Alpina Partners’’, “Alpina”) acquired a majority stake in The Project Group Informationstechnologie GmbH (“TPG”). Headquartered in Munich, TPG actively serves over 700 customers across various geographies and focuses on software solutions and consulting services in the field of project portfolio management (“PPM”).
Alpina’s investment in TPG enables the company to follow its growth path – organically as well as via bolt-on acquisitions – to become one of the leading platforms for software and consulting services in the PPM space. TPG’s management reinvested significantly in the course of the transaction and will stay on board to drive the company’s future growth.
